If you are interested in joining the lab or want to know more about what we do, please get in touch!
We are accepting applications for a funded postdoctoral position in quantitative or evolutionary genetics. If you have research expertise in this area, or familiarity with model systems or genomic or bioinformatic approaches and are interested in the work we do, please send me an email with a brief description of your interests and we’ll get the conversation started.
PhD students accepted into the PhD program in Quantitative Biosciences, the PhD program in Biology, or the PhD program in Bioinformatics are eligible to join the lab. Before you apply to one of these programs, please get in touch if you are especially interested in joining my lab. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, and I can advocate for your application! Strong candidates are those with a demonstrated interest in the genetic basis of adaptation, evolution of development, quantitative genetics and genomics, aspects of molecular, cellular or developmental biology, or the implementation of computational, microscopy or engineering approaches.
TECHNICIANS and RESEARCH STAFF
We are seeking an experienced scientist with skills in molecular, genetic or model system biology, expertise in next-gen sequencing, expertise in microscopy, familiarity with quantitative genetic or genomic analyses, or a background in experimental evolution---or a recent graduate with an interest in learning these skills and a demonstrated enthusiasm for experimental biology. If this sounds like you, please send me an email describing your background and career objectives.
Undergraduates with a diversity of interests and experience are welcome. At this time we are not recruiting any new students to the lab, but watch this space for further announcements if you think you may be interested in working with us in the future.
